How do you play online? what do you need?

to play the psp games online. first, you must create a profile on one of the games. then check if the game you want to play is for wireless play. then go on the net and enter a game room or ''lobby'' and play.
if you don't have internet connection look for stores and restaunants to play there

i have need for speed carbon and when i go to the AD HOC ROOM do i just wait for other players to come in or what?

and also if i want to Syphon filter Logans Shadow or any other shooting game what do i need to play online like a mic or what?

the microphone is optional, there's a chat box in most online games. and there's also a difference in ad hoc and infrastructure. ad hoc is to play between two systems. infrastructure is to play on the net (hope this helps...)

okay so i would rather play infrastructure, but i dont know what or how to do it to like get in the game like it comes up select a connection and i hit new connection then i go to Automatic and i click AOSS and it says press and hold this button but i don't know what the AOSS button is?

like can i be in a car or away from my computer to play online against other people

on the cover of the game theres a box on the bottom of the back of them that tells you if its an online game. also, you cannot play online in the car(if you're in your garage maybe) but, it should work in most parts of your house. you have to be close to the router for your net connection. the aoss button is for something you might be able to get on the net so you can play it anywhere(kinda like a cell tower for cell phones.) its somewhere around $9.95 a mo. if you have that then you could play in your car. i don't think it works in a different state though. you should also look in the manual for the psp it will tell you all about the connections and how to play online
