Network Gaming - Access Code - PSP Forum

Hi Guys,

Just got my PSP with Pro Evo 5 & Tiger Woods 2006. I have seen that Network Access Code supplied in the box, can anyone explain what exactly this is for?
And also, if my PSP was to be later downgraded for homebrew software would Sony be able to 'blacklist' my network access code in the future?

Sorry for the noob question I just wasnt sure so decided to ask.

I doubt you would be blacklisted, plus that is for network gaming regstering at the website.

You have to register to play infastructure mode with games like socom. You register at www.pspforum.com don't worry about being black listed it's not possible.

Thanks for the advice... my 2 games do not even have infrastructure mode

So i'll wait till I get a game that does then i'll register thanks again

yea im playing socom online right now i didnt have to register anything...i have emu and roms on my psp too

yea i tried registering but my pass never came , so wen socom comes out in the uk i hope u dont need to regidter

uh...no. You can use any name you want for Socom, TM:HO, and all the other online games.
