Hey there...so i just got my Psp last nite. Its a japanese (region 1) along with a 2 Gb Pro Duo memory stick( Sony)
It has the firmware ver 1.51-

well i havent bought any games as yet (BUt will do so sooon)
can you guys pls reccomend some good games worth buying...?

My cousin who has the US Psp (version 1.50) told me that it is not possible to downgrade from 1.51 to 1.50. IS that true...?
if it is that means i will have to upgrade from 1.51 to version 2.00 and then downgrade to version 1.51 ???? is that adviseable...? also will screw up the flash memory....????

pls help me out here....thanks if u can....

I know you can upgrade to 2.0 and then downgrade to 1.5. There is a program to do it. If you're doing it for homebrew, which is currently the only reason to really downgrade, then you might want to wait. I heard there might be 2.0 homebrew soon. There is already, but it is getting to be alot better.

There are bits and bobs floating around the forums, but nothign really decicive yet. Check www.pspupdates.com , as they might have some info. Other than that, all I can tellyou is that from what people have told me, we shouldn't have to wait to long for homebrew on 2.0, as suposedly people are working on the overflow exploit.

Some good games worth buying are Grand Theft Auto:Liberty City Stories,Socom : Fireteam Bravo,and thats about it for now.
