| Electrocuted
So today I was listening to some mp3s on my PSP on my way to a class. When I got there, I was getting all settled in, still listening with the stock white earbuds connected to the white remote. While I was taking my winter jacket off, the fucking earbuds started shocking me in the inside of my ears! They kept popping and zapping away for like 5 seconds, like static shocks. I ripped my jacket off and ripped the ear buds out. People were probably looking at me crazy, but I didn't feel like explaining myself. The buds still work perfect, no distortion or anything.
Has this happened to anyone else before??
It could have been caused by my shoes/clothes collecting static from walking on carpet, and getting transferred to some metal part of the connections on the PSP. It was just really weird. It kind of happened again, after another class, but when I was outside. This was just one zap, but I could have been paranoid at that point. If it does happen again, I'll try another set of earbuds I guess. |
