How do you avoid upgrading? - PSP Forum

I hear a lot of people complaining that they cant play homebrew games. How do i avoid upgrading? I keep seeing the icon when i play Armored Core and Dead to Rights.

What do i do? :?

Don't play newly released games that force you to upgrade.

so when you play amored core and dead to rights do you have to upgrade before you can play?

I have Midnight Club III but I think those two are the same. The game has the option built in to upgrade your system to version 1.5.0 , (not 1.5.1 or 1.5.2). You can still play emulators on 1.5.0 so I think its fine. Maybe games in the fall will have more recent updates built in.

I'm not sure if you have to update to play, I don't think so actually. My system was already v. 1.5.0 it's just that there is that option to update available on the disc.
