The whole internet browser thing now being included as part of the 2.0 firmware has got me thinking...

It's cool and all, but why no Flash support? In the pictures from the announcement in Japan, you can clearly see that Flash was one of the features touted in one of the slideshow screens (right next to HTML 4.01)...

Is it a licensing issue with Macromedia?

Or... is it because they don't want you to be able to play Flash games online or maybe save them to your MS and play them later?

Or... could it have opened a huge security hole that could have been exploited easily. I wonder...

They'll be saving it for future realeases probably, they don't want to spoil the whole package from the beginning do they?

^^what he said... except, they DO spoil the whole package by not releasing Flash. But, I would expect that soon. v1.0+ was mainly security patches so I think v2.0+ will deal mainly w/ the web browser
