These are my official unofficial reviews for both the DS, The PSP, and Nintendo itself.

Nintendo DS

I s'pose that Nintendo put up an effort to stay on the market of the gaming industry, but, well, they have used up their ''please try agains''. This IS going to be Nintendo's last portable, most likely at least. Some may say that the DS is better just because has a second, touchable screen. I have now defined that second screen, A FRIGGIN' GIMMICK.

PSP

The PSP is, well, a work of art. It puts new meaning to multimedia divice, while the main attraction is the games. The games are so excellent that you dont need a GIMMICKY second screen. The PSP is a combination of all of Sony's best sellers. The Sony VAIO, the Cybershot, the Playstation 2, the Walkman, and so forth. I could go on and on, but I have to get back to my PSP.

Nintendo Corporation

This is simple enough. Just like Sega, Atari, and so on will had eventually gone bankrupt, and have their forth been forced to only make games. I am not saying that Nintendo, Atari, and Sega hadnt made a fiew good systems, hell, i own atleast one of each. ( Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64) Nintendo WILL fall, eventually.

As a mod said on PSPF, we here at PSP Forums have great respect for Nintendo and the DS. The DS is a fine peice of work and should be aknowledged as a good handheld but we all agree that the PSP is quite better. Yes the PSP is the better peice of technology, but dont hate on Nintendo. Im a big fan of Nintendo. I own all the Nintendo systems (Atari - 64) and handhelds so dont blame me for defending Nintendo =). Im sure Nintendo will pull something out of a hat.

I will speak out for Joystick and say that, in fact, it was not right of him to quote ''hate on'' DS, but like most video game comanies, nintendo will most likely go bankrupt, eventually. They need to blow everyone away with a good game system like they did with N64. That console owned. Anyways, it is not right to quote, un-quote ''hate on'' nintendo, simply because, well, just LOOK AT THOSE LIL' DOOBIE HEADS OVER AT THE NINTENDO DS FORUMS! we would be considered just as bad as they are.

I think you may have meant to say Super Nintendo. That console was top notch. The N64... Not so much.

Don't bash the DS.

I was pretty skeptical about the PSP, but I admit now having played it that it's an amazing little machine. The screen is gorgeous, the graphics are slick, and the extras are nice to have. It does have its issues though. The whole dead pixel thing REALLY sucks. Nintendo goes a lot further out of their way to make sure you receive quality. With that aside....after playing the PSP for awhile I have realized something else. Most of the games out right now are OK but not really A+ amazing. Most of the games out now we have played before. This isn't exactly a bad thing either but I'm looking foward to NEW games that are made just for the PSP. Death Jr. looks like it will be pretty cool. So screen amazing, extras nice, games to play not really better off than the DS.

The DS is trying something different. Maybe it isn't the greatest leap foward but I like that Nintendo tries new things. That is why we have some of the amazing things we have today. This system lacks games as well as we all already know. It too has remakes like Super Mario 64 DS. There are some games upcoming to look foward to though. Castlevania DS, New Super Mario Bros, Zelda Four Swords, Metroid Hunters...so on and so forth. I think it should prove intresting to see how Nintendo takes advantage of the hardware they created. The DS doesn't quite have the FLASH that the PSP does but I think it will hold its own.

Overall it always (at least for me) comes down to the games. As you probably figured I am a Zelda lover and that is why I am always going to like Nintendo stuff. I think both consoles are really great. It would just make more sense to make comparisons a year or two down the road when there are more games.

If you are going on overall looks and graphics yeah the PSP wins. If you go by games out neither system really shines IMO.

I appreciate all of your responses, and, just for the hell of it, i am giving all of you a few UMD's. Share the wealth I always say! ( Thats why I gave my DS to my friend, instead of selling it)
