Hi there,
I understand the PSP games are not regionalised, are the PSP units ? If I was to get hold of a Japanese import machine, would I be ok to play UK games, films, plus connect to my broadband router wireless box ?
What are the codes for the differant PSPS units ? 1000 ? 1001 ? etc ?

This has been asked and answered a number of times. I understand you are new, so I wont be so hard on ya for not searching first.

You can play any game on any PSP, but the movies that come on UMD are region coded. The movies will need to be the same region as your PSP.

1000k (jap) is standard pack 1001k (us).

PSP games are region free, but not UMD movies.


* REGION 1 -- USA, Canada
* REGION 2 -- Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Greenland
* REGION 3 -- S.Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Parts of South East Asia
* REGION 4 -- Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (including Mexico)
* REGION 5 -- Eastern Europe, Russia, India, Africa
* REGION 6 -- China
* REGION 0 or REGION ALL -- Discs are uncoded and can be played Worldwide, however, PAL discs must be played in a PAL-compatible unit and NTSC discs must be played in an NTSC-compatible unit.
