PSP 2004 important question!!! please reply asap! - PSP Forum

Finally after deciding to get a psp, i went to a shop where the price seemed best. He had the PSP 2004 piano black model.

BTW i have many many iso games that i got from my friends and the bloke at the shop told me that it couldn't play iso s or any other format except original UMDs. He said the older versions could play em. Am i missing something here? , cos i got the same explanation from at least 15 other shops. and the old version isn't in stock.

Well, you can run ISOs on the PSP slim, but it is a tad bit harder to do compared to the original PSP. You will need a pandoras battery, as well as a magic memory stick. What version is your PSP?

What he means is that not all of the PSP-2000s are hackable where as all of the PSP-1000s are completely hackable. The only PSPs that were unhackable when he told you that would have been the 88v3s but lately there has been a bunch of stuff about 5.03 GEN-A which you can run through chickHEN R2 IIRC on PSP-3000s and the 88v3s

heres a vid on how to instal chicken and cfw enabler (Links aswell). You must be on cfw 5.03, any higher and you need a pandora.
