okay, i didn´t use my psp for almost two months, i just left it in the logitech hardcover and put it in a shady place. No direct sunlight or anything...

So this other day i try to turn it on, dead. Okay, i recharge it.
But when I turn it on I see that the screen has this ugly f...ing stripe from top to bottom approx in the middle of the screen...

I can say with 100% certainty that the stripe is on the lcd screen, not on the cover... it changes color depending on the color the rest of the screen is showing... Rest of the screen shows blue, stripe is darker blue, screen red - stripe pink, screen green - stripe turqoise/light green, screen black - stripe blue... Also the picture close to the stripe is kinda flickering a little, but it´s only visible when I look closely...

Has anybodu else seen this before, and is it possible to fix...?

Thats a very strange problem , Sounds like the screen is cracked or has got a like leakage init

Are you sure it hasnt been used by someone without you knowing , Dropped

Well if not , Ring up sony (the number is in one of the manuals u get with the psp) and explain then the problem and they should replace it!

The opening hours of the sony helpline is
Weekends and bank holidays - 10am to 6pm
Weekdays - 8am to 10pm

And i think you are entitled to a free replacement or repiar , And i actually think the psp must have been dropped screen facing down , Thats what happened to my friends psp and it is the exact same problem as you have
