I may be wrong but it has been confirmed by GAME (GAME is a very well established UK Game Store)

I am unsure if Sony have yet to confirm this...

yep looks like the date is the 1st gamesradar have it on there site too. if you ask me its way too long to wait and im sure alot of people will import.

Sony has finally announced the launch details for its astonishing PSP system!

The sleek, powerful and lustworthy PlayStation Portable will hit UK streets on Thursday 1st September 2005.

well if i get imported version it would have to be japanese but my mum knows smeone going to new york to get a ipod and a holiday ill seee if she may be able to get me one
