I just bought Me and My Katamari and I believe it needs newer firmware to be played. Up til now I have only played Madden 06 for my psp and I have some homebrew apps here and there. I didnt essentially buy the psp in order to play homebrew but I liked having the ability to. Right now I still have the 1.5 firmware on there. I'm sure I'll have to upgrade later on as more games come out. So I was just wondering if I should just go ahead and upgrade to the firmware that came with my new game or hold off on it? I think its the 2.6 firmware version, not sure yet since I haven't opened the game yet. Any opinions?

you'd be crazy, get the mph game loader for the latest games.
as long as sony continue to make new firmware there will always be ways around it, so i don't think you'll ever need to go beyond 1.5

Well I downloaded the MPH Game Loader 1.1 and I don't know if I did something wrong but the game won't load. It just stays at the black loading screen after I run MPH Game Loader. Maybe I really do need the 2.6 firmware to run "Me and My Katamari"?

Download the sxt sony version changer. It worked for me with my nba live 06 and madden 06.
