Rep Power: 0 | psp don't freeze after an hour of play that is just sh1t, and homebrew is putting programs on the psp that weren't supposed to be there like emulators(programs that let you play other system's games, like NES SNES sega stuff like that) and all kinds of stuff |

Rep Power: 0 | Ok, noobs. The reason that an upgraded firmware on a PSP is that you cant run ANY homebrew, hacks, PSPersonalize, etc etc. THere are tons of emulators that you can run with an un uprgraded firmware, like sega, NES, SNES, n64, etc. You can even play doom with homebrew. I dunno, if youre not a fan of this kind of stuff, then its not that big a deal, but if you want that kind of stuff then you have to wait for hackers to crack this new firmware. |

First, you are calling people names because they are merely uninformed. Second, if you are going to call people names, you might want to take a few lessons on sentence structure, and grammar. I dont see anyone posting that you are dumb because you cant form a coherent sentence.
Try helping people understand what the benefits for upgrading firmware would be, or why keeping their current firmware version would be better.
NOW... to the people that are looking for information.
I can tell you why I won't update my firmware. Sony hasnt included anything useful to me. They only released the newer versions, 1.5 and 1.52, to try and block certain exlploits that have been taken advantage of. These exploits allow people to run code that hasnt been signed by Sony. i.e. emulators and homebrew applications. I hope this helps answer your questions. |
