HOLY POO! That would be awsome!!! Definatly if MSN works(boo aim even though i use it still)... sorry for the useless post but I hard that in the future release/upgrade of firmware they will provide chat (hopefully not 10 cent per message like Cingular charges for me!), if not it could be browser based, although then you may only be able to chat and nothing else...

Wishlist: Chat and leave program in backgroun like on a cellphone, and ability to play music while chatting (and/or playing game at the whole same time (as requested by someone on forums)... maybe aim/msn/w/e running as AwayMode and music playing while your racing your friend from Antartica).... all theroretical (sp), but no doubt a great idea from my prospective.

I don't know if you've heard of this, but the creator of PSPIRC(http://www.pspirc.com) is working on a PSP version of AIM as well. (http://www.pspaim.com)

Update: Apparently someone on CAG is reporting that you can access AIM on the PSP via this site. I haven't tried it yet though. You only have a "chance" of logging in using the free version. The person on CAG said it can take 7-10 tries before successfully logging in.

Although the success rate of actually signing in to the AIM free message service is only something like 3%, it's still worth it.
Imagine how kool it would be, you have WiFi, you're sitting in your garden on a summers day, playing some online games and chatting to your mates all through One hand held console.

Not only that but when you go shopping near something like an internet cafe.

"Hi mate, thought you went out?"
"Yes mate I did, I took my PSP and have hoocked it up to a free access point in town"
"Oo u iz well UbEr"

I will use the AIM untill the MSN version is produced, that should have alot higher success rate.

Also, you know how that game (sorry cant remember the name of it) has the bult in web browser, well maybe you could point it to the online MSN service? http://messenger.msn.com

Or what ever it is, but MSN have an oline IM so maybe some one could allow that site to be viewed on the PSP, thus being able to use MSN IM?
