| Wireless Connection Issues
Hi, I'm sure this is not a new problem, and I'm sure you already have a thread pertaining to it, but I haven't a clue where it is or where to start looking, so I thought I would start this thread in hopes that either a link or two can be provided for me to visit, or perhaps my question can be answered.
My son has a PSP and loves it. A few months ago we changed Internet providers from Mediacom to Verizon. He had used his PSP online via our wireless router with Mediacom, but the misplaced it, so when we switched to Verizon, he didn't have it with him. After the switch, he eventually found his PSP and has repeatedly tried to get back online, but has been unable to.
Off and on I have tried various means to restore his favorite past-time and I too have hit a wall. Today I started over, and restored his PSP's default settings. I have attempted to get online by both allowing the PSP to automatically connect, as well as manually, with me putting in all the required numbers.
Still we can not connect. Sometimes I get a "IP has timed out" notice and other times I have just been told... connection failed. I'm really not sure what else to do and as some of you may know it is hard to see your ten year old disappointed in something he enjoys very much. Any help would be appreciated.
