It does work. Please explain what the problem is ? Just stating that it doesnt work, isnt helping anyone figure out why you cant get it working.

ok... I suck at this hacking stuff... and that is why I really never got into Emu's at all and I am really not interested in downgrading. But now I am!!! I really want to try this baby out and lay some SNES games and some NES games. So for some UMD's, can anyone here post or PM me a quick tutorial on "Downgrading your PSP for DUMMIES!" and also "Getting into EMU"s... once again... for DUMMIES!" I would greatly appreciate that!

hollaz2alex, I got the same question that s3v3n made. I Got version 1.5 thanks to the downgrader. If I use the WAB changer to trick the psp will I be able to reflash the psp with original 2.0 firmware or any others in the future? Cause if not it would only fix us up for the games that use the present firmwares and we'll be stuck in the fguture games that might require who knows? the 3.0

I'm trying to find out directly from the people who made it..since NO One answered me. I've posted the same question in 4 forums....no one knows. However, my assumption is...again MY ASSUMPTION...

I figure you could upgrade so long as you go back to your original version and THEN upgrade. I don't see how that would brick the PSP, but you never know.

SonyXTeam has released a new version of the changer which lets you go up to 2.01 for those of you who haven't read the other topic about it.

I updated again the firmware to 2.0 using the demo disc included with the value pack and nothing happened to the psp. Then I downgraded back to 1.0, reupgraded to 1.5 and used to wab changer to make it look 1.52. It works perfect. Great software

Yes you can upgrade if you use the version switcher. Just make sure you switch the version back to 1.5 if that's what you use. Won't harm anything. And, you probably checked the wrong forums about that, cause the SXT forum covered that question and the answer came from a mod. (always best to go to the creators site)

Upon closer inspection, i see you posted that question on SXT. But, to anyone else who may have this question later. Yes you can upgrade just go back to the original settings.

Thanks that's good info to know just in case Sony makes some kind of game that ever uses some of the features used in 2.0+. Eventhough I know it's not likely, but you never know.

So you used the changer then updated...then downgraded then set it at 1.52 using the changer again...wow. Looks like it works. Good info to know.

yes and considering what jazazel said I have mistaken in the part where I didnt switch back to 1.5 when I updated to 2.0 but stayed on 1.52. Still it didnt screw up my psp and went into 2.0 without problems

Might have got lucky. I know there was a report with the original version switcher where someone didn't change it back to the original settings and tried to upgrade nearly bricking it.
