Rep Power: 0 | Well im pretty new here and so far it seems like a very "STICK TOGETHER" place. It has loads an loads of new info on the psp and keaps everyone up to date on whats happening, and will happen in teh near future. Although there are some "OUTBURST" here an there everyone seems to forgive and forget, which i love the most. It allows you to start fresh, and not worry about someone haveing a "GRUDGE" against you. I am a member on many many forums (not just psp ones) and this seems to be the most FAMILY like one. I look forward to many good years to come. |

Rep Power: 0 | Well, its going to be hard to say something that others didn't say, but I guess I'll try anyway's.I am going to explain what makes this site great comming from someone who just joined the site, to when they reach the status of 6 month's or so.
For someone new joining PSPF, they are not sure what to expect. This is where the first factor come's in, the Community. They are given a opportunity to post and say hello to everyone, and in return, they are greeted with warm welcome's. That is something in my opinion that makes anyone feel like they are wanted here and will keep comming back on.
Next they have decided to start posting and asking questions, which leads me to the forum content. We have so many Forum section's that have the exact content your looking for, from 'n00b Central' to 'Hack's, Mod's and Technical Jargon', you are never looking for the "right place to post". This is something that is hard to find in some forum's; that the Owner's don't take the time to acknowlege.
This leads me to the next point;Extra content. Any forum can be as good as another, but it takes some other things that will want to keep someone here. Having extra's such as contest in which you can win thing's, having a point system, Subscribing etc, are some things that makes you want to stay. You are not just looking at the same old forum every day with no other options but to post and wait for that reply.
This I believe is what makes alot of the people on here enjoy this site so much. That leads me to the people, which is tied in with the community. We have such a diverse group of people, from all different parts of the world, which can make things difficult to try and find other things in common, besides what the forum is dedicated to. Having such a helping group of people is what makes someone who is a n00b, become someone who is here to stay. I know personally I have left many forums because people are too quick to jump on the "I'm more powerful than you trip" and that's not something that happens here. I believe that for all these reason's, this is truly what makes PSPF so unique. If we didn't consist of half these things, we would be just another forum that some guy tried to start and failed because he doesn't know the mechanic's of what it takes to make a good site. So I congradulate you Defender on your hard work, as to the Moderator's for keeping your running shoe's on all the time, although they may be tied too tight on some occasions :P
That to me is why PSPF is so great.

Rep Power: 0 | I have only been here for a couple weeks now. And from the many PSP Boards Ive been to this, is the best one.
A Very Helpful Community. They steered me into buying Winning Eleven 9 instead of Fifa 06. Which I have to say is a bad ass game.
And when I became a subscriber last week, it just opened up more potential to the forum. I love those two areas. This is probable one of, if not the only site that does this.
I have to say this is the only site for PSP Owners to hang around and help each other out, and chill. |

Rep Power: 0 | Im typing this letter in no reasons because I want to win the prize. In honesty, the prize is nothing compared to how much PSP Forums has helped me out. I remember the time when I joined PSPF, I started out with so many noob questions. In other sites, people often get mean to you and tell you to do this and that which was altogether so confusing. Here it's different, the people are great here. The Moderators' are doing a fantastic job. The community altogether is just wonderfull. Everyone here are just too warm hearted. The community has now turned out to be a family. You can share your views, opinions and you dont get bad comments at all, people here are very polite. Ive never participated in any competitions, although I wanted to, but mostly, I missed out on alot. I really do not care to win this prize, its just over these months, Ive become so close to my PSP because of you guys, And the same family are become even better. Nothing is "old" here. Anytime a new person enters our site, he gets a warm welcoming, which, by just looking at it is so touching. I just wanna say, Defender, you've done the best job of making this site, finding moderators and altogether running this site. And I swear, Ive never seen any website as good as PSP Forums. Thanks Defender for having me on here and thanks to the community for baring with my problems, thanks to everyone for accepting me as a family. Thank you guys, you guys are great and God Bless Every single one of you.
Thank you,
Desmond. |

Rep Power: 0 | PSPF is a great community, its not too small and its not too big. I like coming here every night and reading the posts. This community isn't one of such where people will be dicks, most everyone is helpful to each other. I love to come to PSPF and just see the community and the members grow as a whole, getting new members every day. This forum, and CAG are basically the only two forums I can go to if I need help, or just a good read when I sit down to my computer. In short, PSPF is the only good PSP forum on the net. Thank you Defender for such an awesome site. |

Rep Power: 0 | Since I first joined here I knew that most of my psp questions would be answered. The people here are great and always ready to help you out with your questions. The contest that the great people hold on here are just fantastic. Virtual UMD's for real ones. When I first came onto PSPF I was just wondering how to get online with my psp. I made about 10 topics. Lol. After I made an account I found out that people will answer your questions if you just have paitence. After about one month of being on this wonderful site i decided to become a subscriber because its such a great deal. PSPF has taught me that there is much more that you can do with your psp than the package says. I love this community and am planning on staying here for as long as I live.
Sincerely,
Jameson |
