Rep Power: 0 | Wow... Where do I start. I hope you don't think of this entry into this contest as just another entry, but chances are that you will. Whatever.
I joined here back in April, expecting to get some info and leave. A few weeks and 200 posts later I was a moderator. I figured I'd be here for a long ass time. Years... And many good and bad expiriences. And I was stripped clean of my moderating capabitlities for reasons Defender and I have discussed. I was mad at first, I mean, who wouldn't be? You are a moderator of one of the largest, widest spread PSP communities on the internet. I was mad, and my interest in this site had decreased a bit over the next few months, but I still visited. By the summer I was quite the frequent poster (mostly good posts... from what I know). So, yadda yadda, the summer was fun and all. There were quite a few other frequent posters that I had befriended over that time, and they pretty much just... Left once summer was over. So, I had to start over.
Around the end of September my computer crashed, and a virus or SOMETHING had fucked it up to a level where I could save it. I didn't have the money to go out and rebuy XP and repair it at that time, so for the next 2 months or so I was fucked. I eventually repaired it, by the beginning of December, and began posting again. I became somewhat good friends with Will (Wonkizzle), Kyle (Singularity) PPS (The Nevermind), and many others I would consider a friendship with. I looked foward to getting off of work and coming home to see what they were all up to in the Delete Thread or whatever.
Raffles... Oh my, raffles. Around mid-January raffles were the big thing on this site. Everyone wanted UMD's, and were thinking of some very creative ways of getting them, mostly raffles for items. I myself won a few raffles, 2 I believe.
Yadda yadda, and we are into Febuary. I was utterly shocked to quite the extent when I heard about the UMD reset. I had so many mixed emotions... I didn't know what to think. I couldn't stop it, no matter what I or anyone else did, so I just ignored it. I logged off early that night, so as not to anger myself. It affected many others more than myself.
And then... They left. Almost all of my good friends on this site left, due to many reasons, mainly the UMD reset. It pissed quite a few people off, like I said... But I stayed. I didn't promote the site or spam, or anything. Sure, I didn't have much to stay for, but I did. My activeness has since then decreased, but I am still here, and posting daily. I do think I have started over yet again... Although I don't want to. I would like to think of Troy (hockeyguy) and Travis (Sivart) and several others as friends of mine now. It happens.
I have been having some rough times the last few days. First I had to cut some expenses to be able to pay my bills, mainly my TiVo, high speed internet, etc. My phone company is cutting off my phone line tomorrow because I cannot afford to pay it any longer. As soon as I can I will have to pay it, because of something that happened last night... Very late.
I got off of work, and as I was getting into my car, I thought I heard something drop. I didn't think twice, suspecting it was just the wind or whatever. I got home, and started looking for my 150$ cell phone, which I love dearly (:P ), and I couldn't find it to save my life. As soon as I realized this, I immediately got in my car and drove to the parking lot near my work, where I park my car every day. There it was... Just... Sitting there. On the ground... In pieces. I had ran it over as I exited the parking lot. I was feeling absolutely awful at that point. I had no phone or anything. Luckily, I found one of my (VERY) old phones I can use until I find a new one, but still... I spent quite a lot of money (that I didn't have) on this phone... And I ran it over. Not a good week. At all.
And anyone else who reads this... Don't fucking dare think I am BS'ing you. This shit happened, and I'm not very happy about it as is. Don't make it worse for me. I'm not trying to tell a sob story, but I need to get this anger out of my system.
So... Yeah. That's about it. |

Rep Power: 0 | This is the best nline community because of all the active posters and friendly people. I have been a member at alot of forums and this site is by far the best one that i know of. At most of the other forums i would sit around for days wating for a reply to a question i had. Those forums also had very few loyal, active, members. They had alot of total members per say but none of them logged in on a daily basis. Here on pspforums i can log in, read new posts, reply a few times, get up for a drink, come back and there will be about 10 new posts. Its wonderful.
This site is also a great place to find anything PSP related. If you want to know about some new PSP game i can guarantee someone here can tell you all about it. We have some of the most intelligent people i know here. |

Rep Power: 0 | Psp forums is great because it shows people how to use psp's and many other technical stuff. When i first came to pspf i knew noting about the psp. This site gave me the incentive to buy the psp. It also showed me how to use it, all the things that can be done with it, and a little bit of hacks. I think pspf is also great because you can learn stuff about computers and many other technical things.

Rep Power: 0 | Pspforums is a great forum. When I'm in school I keep thinking about whats going on, on the forums. The first thing I do when I get home or wake up I go to the forums. I begged my parent's to let me use their credit card to subscribe. It was worth every penny. Even my mother comes on here to download files (using my umd's lol). Before I subscribed to this site I was on like 7 different sites. No other sites comapre to this site. Even if you had to pay $20 to go to this site I guess I will be paying up lol. In other words this is my favorite site on the net and I reccomend this to everyone. On my myspace link, sconex link and every other site I'm on I post a link promoting this site. Thanks Defender for making such a great site. |

Rep Power: 0 | wonders of the psp society PSPF is a remarcable site for a number of reasons. For one everyone is very helpful they will spring at the blink of an eye to help u. Also the way its setup is so user friendly, how informative it is. it will say if u had any new posts u dont have to count and go " ok there were three before now there is...." etc. etc. furthermore the reason i joined this forum site is because i thoght i could get the most help here... and u know what? I was right beaver DAM right. In conclusion, although im new i am very eager to start exploring the rest of the site with the hope of enhancing my knowledge of the psp and the computer-filled world.
